This handy little mute is the next addition to the FAXX Compact Practice Mute family. It functions in the same way as the trumpet and trombone models in that it reduces the volume by 80% or so without changing intonation. It is an excellent way to practice at home or in a hotel room know that you will not disturb anyone in the adjoining rooms.
